The Novo Agent Grid

Novo’s unique combination of services, technology and expertise, allow hospitals and health systems to focus on managing the relationship with the providers, while Novo maintains the technical and interface infrastructure necessary to exchange information in the community. Novo’s solution is completely owned, marketed and deployed by the hospital, adaptable to any community outreach initiative, with little initial and on-going management effort.

The Novo Agent Grid solves many of the challenges facing hospital and community integration initiatives:

• Privacy:  Because Novo is a true exchange solution and does not aggregate data into a database, information is only exchanged with authorized recipients, therefore ensuring privacy.
• Connectivity:  All communication is transported via SSL and the internet. No network or VPN changes are necessary to participate in the Novo Grid.
• Integration:  Novo is responsible for all integration development efforts. Novo’s experience includes dozens of EMR’s, HIS systems, EMS applications and even the ability to integrate into a paper based environment.
• Management and Support:  Novo is responsible for support of the Novo infrastructure, including all technical and integration maintenance. Management of the Novo solution at the hospital is handled by a fraction of an FTE. A non-technical, non-interface resource, that is typically involved in the marketing and management of other physician outreach services.
• Adoption:  Many HIE projects struggle with adoption. Novo is focused on providing immediate value to all participants, which helps drive community adoption. Novo will also work with your executives to develop and deploy the Novo solution as the cornerstone for other outreach efforts.
• Security:  All data is highly encrypted and fully audited throughout the exchange process.
